We just had our winter break at AFA, and now we are ready to gear back up and have YOU join us!
On Friday, January 12th at 6:30 PM we are hosting an informal information session at the Lewiston Armory. Come meet the Angels and learn about our league, our training, and how you can join us. Stick around after the meeting and watch a Derby 101 practice to see what it’s like.
We have a place for everyone both on and off skates at AFA. Have you always thought roller derby looked like fun and totally badass, but never thought you could do it? Well we want you to know that we believe there is nothing that should keep you from going for it and letting roller derby empower you.
We welcome all women over 18 to skate with us. We are LGBTQIA welcoming. We have no upper age limit. We celebrate all body types. Never skated before? We’ll teach you how! Wheels not your thing? We have non skating membership and roles too.
